PRECISION MEDICINE - INFORMATION AND TECHNOLOGY TO EDUCATE HEALTH PROFESSIONALS AND PATIENTS
Introdução
Precision Medicine combines the data already used for diagnosis and treatment (signs, symptoms, personal and family history, as well as tests) with the person's genetic profile, currently being applied to oncology. Despite being widely discussed in the oncological context, it benefits few patients and its information is poorly accessible.
Objetivo
In order to humanize health based on education, raise awareness and demystify the approach, as also to clarify and facilitate access to information on this new technology, an online mini-course was created to address this topic.
Método
Beaba Institute, a non-profit entity for demystifying cancer and providing information about the disease and treatment, has developed the first Instagram mini-course in the health area with the theme of Precision Medicine, divided into 5 chapters:
• Precision Medicine
• Precision Oncology
• Genetics
• Medicines
• Glossary
Through co-creation, interdisciplinarity and Information Technology, the development was made with multi-professionals: oncologists working in genetics, psychologists, illustrators, art directors and technology developers.

Conclusão
The mini-course is an empowerment tool for patients and family members to make the decision shared with their health team, as well as it can be a way to clarify the possibilities of treatment in a given case. The success in developing this course would not have been possible without interdisciplinarity, adding technical information and graphic design as an effective tool for engaging and supporting outcomes related to heath.
