AGUSTIN MELO-CARRILLO

Dr. Agustin Melo Carrillo is an Assistant Professor at Harvard Medical School and a principal investigator in the Department of Anesthesia at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. His research centers on the neurobiology of headache, with a focus on the trigeminovascular system, cortical spreading depression, and the mechanisms of action of CGRP-targeted therapies and botulinum toxin in migraine. Through a combination of animal models and translational approaches, his work aims to bridge basic neuroscience and clinical application.
