PIERO BARBANTI
Piero Barbanti, MD, PhD, is a Full Professor of Neurology at San Raffaele University in Rome and Director of the Headache and Pain Unit at IRCCS San Raffaele. He is former President of the Italian Neurological Association for Headache Research (ANIRCEF) and currently leads the Italian Headache Sufferers Association (AIC). He also coordinates the Italian Migraine Registry (I-GRAINE).
Prof. Barbanti has focused on headache disorders since the early 1990s, authoring over 170 peer-reviewed papers and leading 61 clinical trials. He serves on multiple editorial boards and scientific committees and is a frequent reviewer for top neurology journals.
