Dr. Shih-Pin Chen is a physician-scientist who currently serves as Professor and Director of the Institute of Clinical Medicine, National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University, concurrently holding the position of Chief in Division of Translational Research, Department of Medical Research at Taipei Veterans General Hospital, Taipei, Taiwan. He is dedicated to unraveling the intricate pathophysiology of headache and neurovascular disorders using directional translational approach encompassing clinical, neuroimaging, genetics, and preclinical animal studies. He has currently authored over 160 research articles, including esteemed journals such as JAMA Neurology, Brain, Annals of Neurology, and Neurology, among others. He currently also serves as an Associate Editor of The Journal of Headache and Pain and is a member of the Science and Research Committee in the International Headache Society.
